Mark Strombotne is an attorney, mediator, and licensed real estate broker with more than 25 years of litigation and transactional experience in California.  He was formerly a partner in Hoge, Fenton, Jones & Appel (a Northern California law firm with 70 lawyers) and thereafter became a partner in Pettit & Martin (a nationwide law firm of 200 lawyers).  The Strombotne Law Firm was founded more than 10 years ago and has enjoyed considerable success for our clients.

Mr. Strombotne provides legal advice to real estate brokerage companies in Santa Clara, San Mateo and Santa Cruz Counties on all aspects of their real estate business and transactions.  He assists property buyers and sellers with legal disputes relating to their real property.  Mark has litigated numerous cases through arbitration or trial in State Courts or Federal Courts throughout California.  He has won many jury trials and court trials.  He has prevailed in cases on appeal to the California State Court of Appeal for the Sixth Appellate District and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Paul Nash joined Strombotne Law Firm as an associate attorney in 2010.

Mr. Nash received his J.D. from University of Utah, S.J. Quinney College of Law in 2009, where he graduated with honors. He served as Articles Editor for the Utah Law Review and as a teaching assistant for the property law and legal research and writing courses. Mr. Nash has also served as a judicial extern for Judge Carolyn B. McHugh of the Utah Court of Appeals. He completed his undergraduate education at Brigham Young University, where he received a B.A. in Business Management, in 2006.

Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Nash worked for more than six years in the real estate industry, as a title officer, escrow officer, and mortgage broker. Most recently he was an account executive for a private money investment firm.

Mr. Nash is a member of the State Bar of California. He is also an active member of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society and the BYU Management Society.
